This cooperative is a project to recover and value the handicrafts made with the piaçava, a fiber that comes from palm trees common in the region. The technique uses a traditional and detailed process that is the same that their ancestors used. The artisans value the land and replant the palm trees as well as other organic products that they use in order to maintain sustainability.
